Your visit

What to expect

Your infusion is approved by our nurse practitioner or physician assistant and given by our registered nurses, who stay close and check on you throughout.

  1. Book and fill out your forms

Call either clinic. First-timers fill out an intake and consent form. Returning patients sign a short update form each visit.

  2. Check in and choose

Your nurse reviews your health and medications and confirms your blend and add-ons before mixing your bag.

  3. Relax for 30 to 60 minutes

Your nurse starts the IV, keeps the flow gentle at first and checks on you often until you're done.

  4. Afterward

Keep the bandage on for an hour, drink extra fluids and keep taking your normal medications. First-timers go home with a welcome gift.

Please talk with us first if you

  • Have heart failure or heart disease
  • Have kidney disease or are on dialysis
  • Take a blood thinner
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Are allergic to any ingredient

Bring your medication list. Some conditions mean an infusion isn't safe for you.

Before your first visit

Everyone fills out an intake and consent form before their first infusion, online or at the front desk.

Returning patients sign a short update form at each visit.

How often and how long

Most infusions take 30 to 60 minutes. You can have one every two weeks at most; many people come less often, based on how they feel.

Go to the ER or call 911 instead for severe belly pain, any bleeding, vomiting that won't stop, confusion with dehydration, a severe headache, chest pain, trouble breathing, or signs of a stroke.

Questions we hear a lot

Question 1 of 11

Which blend should I choose?

Start with how you feel. Run down or getting sick: Sensible Immunity. Headache, cramps or a gout flare: Sensible Relief. Big day coming up: Tri-Immune Boost. Training hard: Tres Aminos. Want a regular wellness routine: Sensible Boost. Still unsure? Call and our nurses will help you pick.

Question 2 of 11

Are the infusions the same at both clinics?

Yes. Barron and Roberts offer the same blends, add-ons and prices. Book with whichever clinic is closer.

Still have a question? Call Barron (715) 637-0001 or Roberts (715) 760-3770.

Question 3 of 11

Do I need to be a member?

No. Anyone can book an infusion. Members save 10% on every blend; add-ons are regular price. You can see the member price under each blend on the menu above.

Still have a question? Call Barron (715) 637-0001 or Roberts (715) 760-3770.

Question 4 of 11

What is in the Relief blend?

Calcium, magnesium, B vitamins and B12, plus two medications for pain and inflammation: Toradol (similar to ibuprofen) and dexamethasone (a steroid). Because of those medications, it isn't a fit for everyone, so your nurse will check first.

Still have a question? Call Barron (715) 637-0001 or Roberts (715) 760-3770.

Question 5 of 11

How soon will I feel it, and how long does it last?

Everyone is different. Some people feel better right away and others over the next three days. The effects usually last at least two weeks, and some regulars say five or six. If you come in for general wellness, you may not notice a big change. No infusion can promise a result.

Still have a question? Call Barron (715) 637-0001 or Roberts (715) 760-3770.

Question 6 of 11

Are there side effects?

Most people do well. Mild effects like an upset stomach, headache, nausea, tiredness or extra energy usually pass in 12 to 24 hours. Glutathione can leave you feeling off for a day, and dexamethasone can raise blood sugar or make it hard to sleep. Call 911 for trouble breathing, swelling of your tongue or throat, or hives.

Still have a question? Call Barron (715) 637-0001 or Roberts (715) 760-3770.

Question 7 of 11

I have a stomach bug. When should I come in?

Wait until the worst of the vomiting or diarrhea has passed, usually at least 12 hours and sometimes 24, since coming in too soon can drag it out. If you can't keep fluids down and are worried about dehydration, call us.

Still have a question? Call Barron (715) 637-0001 or Roberts (715) 760-3770.

Question 8 of 11

Does an IV replace drinking water or my vitamins?

No. An IV is an extra boost on top of drinking water, eating well and taking your usual supplements and medications. Drink extra fluids after your infusion.

Still have a question? Call Barron (715) 637-0001 or Roberts (715) 760-3770.

Question 9 of 11

Can I buy an infusion for someone else?

Yes. Call the clinic and we'll note it in their chart.

Still have a question? Call Barron (715) 637-0001 or Roberts (715) 760-3770.

Question 10 of 11

What if I change my mind?

Once your blend is mixed or a shot is drawn up, it's yours and can't be refunded. Your nurse confirms your choices with you before mixing.

Still have a question? Call Barron (715) 637-0001 or Roberts (715) 760-3770.

Question 11 of 11

What does "special order" mean?

We don't keep high-dose vitamin C or biotin in stock. We order them for your visit, so call a few days ahead. Ask us for biotin pricing.

Still have a question? Call Barron (715) 637-0001 or Roberts (715) 760-3770.
