"After searching for several years for a physician and experiencing many “dead ends” to my declining health that I walked through the doors of Sensible Cares Solutions, if I am being honest, it was merely out of desperation.
I started with my kids, my 7-year-old (at the time) had been suffering for months with migraines that would leave my active child in bed for days…and yet I couldn’t get answers from anyone. I am not a parent willing to mask an issue with medications and everywhere we went that seemed to be the solution. Jamie worked with my son and I to come up with a treatment plan that included a holistic approach that started with diet. It seems so simple, but we were able to determine allergies to foods that triggered his migraines. My son has been migraine free for almost a year and a half because we can control his food intake. It was with the results of this that I reluctantly came forward with the significant decline in my own physical health. I felt desperate, unheard, like chronic pain was what I was going to have to live with at 35 years old. Jamie took time to listen, listen to how I was feeling, listen to my story, and listen to my preferences, together we created a plan. My plan included lots of labs, lots of supplements, and lots of self-care. Labs led to a plan of action, it lead to adjustments, and it lead to me being able to read my body better. We still work together, and my plan is ever changing but she gives the hope in my hopeful, and she truly does always “Do it with a Smile.”
